Alois Andrä
Born on 23.4.1933 in Leibnitz, died on 2.1.2008 ibid. After finishing secondary school, he worked in the hotel industry in Germany and Switzerland (hotel management school in Lucerne), then attended the Federal Finance School and worked as a customs officer in the Austrian Federal Administration from 1955. He made his first attempts at writing in the 1950s and, after a long break, wrote various poems (some in dialect) and (mostly satirical) short stories from 1979 onwards. In 2003, a selection of texts was published under the title Im Regenbogen.
