Sepp Keller
Born on 9.8.1912 in Aigen/Ennstal, died as a result of a motorcycle accident on 19.12.1944 in Sona near Verona (Italy). Attended the Landesoberrealschule Graz, joined the NSDAP in 1930, graduated from high school in 1931 and became a member of the NSDStB, head of the cultural department; from 1932 studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and became a member of the SA; in 1934, after the failed July Putsch, fled to Munich via Bratislava (now Bratislava): Bratislava) to Munich, accepted into SA group Austria (Austrian Legion), remarkable literary career in the Third Reich, success with autobiographical novel Zwischen Nacht und Tag (1938), a description of the events of 1934; friendship with Edwin Erich Dwinger, contributor to the anthology "Heimkehr ins Reich. Großdeutsche Dichtung aus Ostmark und Sudetenland, 1866-1938" (1939), along with Hans Kloepfer and Franz Nabl participant in the "9th Berlin Poetry Week" (April 1938), on behalf of the Volksdeutsche Mittelstelle der SS, 1939/40 participation in the resettlement of "Germans abroad" from Volhynia, Galicia and the Baltic states; from 1942 in the German Wehrmacht, including in Russia and the Baltic states.
