Klob Karl Maria
Karl Maria Klob (pseudonym: Hans auf der Mauer, Wolfgang Karlob), born on 18.5.1873 in Olmütz (Moravia), died on 1.10.1932 in Vienna. Playwright, storyteller, music critic, publicist and magazine editor; technical training, worked as a savings bank clerk, from 1897 in Vienna, founded the "Poetische Flugblätter" together with Joseph Kitir, edited the "Deutsche Literaturbilder" with Oskar Pach (1901-1903).
Publications include: Ernster Sang und Schellenklang (1898), Der Uhrmacher von Olmütz (1897), Prinz Habezwirn (1900), Die Wunderorgel (1902), Aus der Provinz (1902), Dämmer und Strahlen (1902), Schubart. Ein deutsches Dichter- und Kulturbild (1908), Die Oper von Gluck bis Wagner (1912), Roman Die Verirrte (1914).
