Mitterbacher Friedrich
Born on 29.7.1953 in Knittelfeld (Styria). Poet; attended compulsory school in Knittelfeld; began an apprenticeship as a machine fitter in the main workshop of the Austrian Federal Railways in 1968; completed his apprenticeship in 1972; worked as a plant fitter and later as a senior fitter in Austria and abroad from 1973 to 1989; trained as a foreman at the TGM in Vienna from 1989 to 1991; has attended the advanced course for professionals in mechanical engineering at the TGM since 1991; works as a technical employee in Vienna.
Publications include: Gedichte aus der Urnenzeit (1983), An den Quellen der Sphinx (1986), Auf Abruf (1989).
