Teimer Ludwig
Born on 27.11.1902 in Judenburg (Styria), died on 7.10.1970 in Bad Hall (Upper Austria). Parents, Theodor and Martha Teimer, owned a painting business in Judenburg; began an apprenticeship as a cook at the Grandhotel Wien in 1916 and then worked as a cook at the "Deutsches Haus" restaurant in Vienna for seven years; seasonal work in Holland, Salzburg, Bad Aussee, Tyrol, Ragusa, at Lloyd Bremerhaven as a ship's cook; married to Elsa Galla from 1939; in the German navy, Norway, from 1939 to 1945; moved to Bad Hall in 1949; worked as an accountant at Caritas; retired from 1965.
Publications include: Elsa. A cycle of poems (1947), Am Lebensweg. Ein Buch des Schauens und Betrachtens (ca. 1935).
