Ernst Vasovec
Born on 21.9.1917 in Müglitz a.d. March (North Moravia), died on 14.12.1993 in Vienna. Eldest of three brothers, mother died in 1921, primary and secondary school in Müglitz, father moved to Vienna in 1931, graduated from teacher training college in 1937, discharged from military service in 1938 due to illness, married Luise Vasovec in 1938, then teacher at the Catholic Boys' School of the School Sisters in Vienna, joined the Nazi Party in 1938 and employed in East Prussia, conflict with the party, 1942 transferred to Unterpulskau/Spodnja Polskava near Marburg, 1944 fled to Vienna, 1946 to Neudau, 1947 qualified to teach in secondary schools, then since February 1949 secondary school teacher in Hartberg, inherits a settlement house in Vienna-Donaufeld, 1964 retired due to illness and moved to Vienna, worked in the Austrian National Library, deteriorating health (syringomyelia); Five daughters.
