Jonke Gert
Born on 8.2.1946 in Klagenfurt, died on 4.1.2009 in Vienna. From 1966 studied at the Department of Film and Television at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, from 1968 studied German language and literature, philosophy, history and musicology at the University of Vienna, student at the Academy of Film and Television in Vienna, 1970 worked in the radio drama department of Süddeutscher Rundfunk in Stuttgart, from 1971 DAAD scholarship holder in West Berlin, 1977 moved to Vienna, scholarships in Hamburg (1981), Amsterdam (1983) and Frankfurt/Main (1985/86), 1992 city writer in Graz, then lived in Vienna.
